Description

This is one of our superb reproduction Black Powder Firing Firearms. An exact copy of the original weapon. The Pistolet modèle An XIII (year 13 model pistol) is a flintlock cavalry pistol, in service in French units from 1806. Usually issued in pairs and carried in leather wallets attached to the Saddle of each cavalryman. It was also issued to Officers and was extensively used by the French Navy. It was in general use up to the 1830’s when it was gradually replaced by Percussion Cap Pistols.
