Deactivated Firearms are real Rifles, Machine guns, Pistols and Revolvers, manufactured as standard weapons that have removed from service and decommissioned. All of our deactivated firearms have been submitted to the London or Birmingham proof house and have been certified by them as unable to function as a firearm. The deactivation process usually leaves no visible signs of interference to the firearms and therefore makes the weapons extremely useful as hand help film prop or stage prop weapons.
Part of the deactivation process renders any chamber or cylinder incapable of loading any live or blank or dummy ammunition.
Our extensive collection of deactivated Firearms cover a wide time period. All of the pieces are available for hire for film or theatrical performance and do not require a licensed Armourer to be present to supervise their use.
